The 24th International Cartographic Conference successfully has finished at the Closing Ceremony and the awards of the International Cartographic Exhibition, the “Barbara Petchenik” Exhibition of Children Maps and the Orienteering Competition.

In addition, the ICA President, Prof. William Cartwright thanked all of the Organizing Committee for their participation and cooperation in this Conference, and especially congratulated the President of the Organizing Committee and Director of the Geographic Military Institute, Colonel Juan Vidal García-Huidobro,  and recognizing his labor.

The representative of the Organizing Committee for the next ICC (France, 2011), Mr. Francois Lecordix invited everyone to the next 25th International Cartographic Conference in the City of Paris.

The President of the Organizing Committee and Director of the Geographic Military Institute, Colonel Juan Vidal García-Huidobro thanked all the attendees, at the close of this Conference.
