The participants of the ICC-2009 traveled to the city of Valparaíso to visit the facilities of the Oceanographic and Hydrographic Service of the Navy (SHOA), where they were received by the Sub-Director Patricio Carrasco. Over sixty five people participated, obtaining information about the oceanographic studies that this institution performs.
