  • Speech by the President of the Local Organizing Committee and Director of the Military Geographic Institute, Col. Juan Vidal Garcia-Huidobro.
  • Performance by the Chilean Army Concert Band.
  • Speech by the President of the International Cartographic Association, Mr. William Cartwright.  
  • Performance by the Folkloric  Ballet of Chile (BAFOCHI).
  • Speech by HE Ms. Michelle Bachelet Jeria, President of Chile.  
  • Inauguration of the technical and commercial exhibit.
  • Opening Cocktail
 
All attendees, accompanying persons, and authorities can participate in the Opening Ceremony of the ICC 2009. Ms. Michelle Bachelet, the President of the Republic of Chile and other authorities will be present in this activity whose objective is to welcome attendees and inaugurate the ICC 2009. A cocktail will be served to all the people attending the ceremony.
