This will be run in the “Hacienda Santa Martina” estate, which has 900 hectares of natural landscape located at the foothills of the Andes to the north-east of Santiago’s urban zones.
Competitors will run a circuit aided by a map and compass, so that they can pass all the control points and find the finish point.
The competitor who takes the least time is the competition wi-nner.
All registered ICC 2009 attendees are entitled to sign up for the orienteering event; up to eighty competitors will be accepted, divided into four categories by sex and age.
