Sponsor Grants for Registrations
An organization can sponsor the participation of
attendees who do not have the necessary resources to
pay for their registration. These grants are intended for
participants resident in chile, thus being the complement
of the Travel Awards that the ICA grants. The number of
persons given grants can be determined by the sponsor,
but a minimum of ten persons are recommended. The
grant will be used to pay registrations in participant,
senior or student categories.
The organizations interested in sponsoring should tell
LOC their intention to carry out a program of grants,
together with the amounts and numbers of grants
proposed. LOC will announce the offer of grants to
raise interest among persons who desire to apply. After
receiving the applications to the grant, the sponsor
organization will assess the applications and assign the
grants. The organization will be incorporated into ICC
2009 in the category determined by the Sponsor Scheme. The amount of the sponsorship
in this case is calculated according to the numbers of
grants and the registration rates.
