2005	22nd XXII ICC, Coruña, Spain: Santiago, Chile is designated of the 24th ICC.
2007	IGM creates the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and the conference web site.
Aug. 2007	23rd ICC, Moscow, Russian Federation: Participation Chilean delegation.

16th Ene. 2009	Deadline for abstracts (all categories) and for full papers Deadline for applications to the ICA Travel Grant.
30th Abr. 2009	Notices to be sent to authors informing acceptance of their papers or posters.
8th May. 2009	Notices to be sent to those applicants awarded the ICA Travel Grant.
1st Jun. 2009	Registration fees change from "early" to "late" rates. The same happens for hotel rates. Deadline for requesting participation in the International Cartographic Exhibition.
30th Jun. 2009	Departures from Santiago or post-conference tourism, meetings and parallel events.
10th Jul. 2009	Deadline for receiving the full papers in non-refereed category.
30st Aug. 2009	Deadline for payment of registration of those authors who will attend conference to present papers and posters. Deadline for providing full information about the products to be exhibited in the International Cartographic Exhibition. Deadline for requesting rooms for the meetings of the ICA.

2010 - 2011 Post-Conference Period
2010	Publication of ICC 2009 papers in journals associated with the ICA.
Jul. 2011	The 25th ICC and the XV General Assembly of the ICA are due be held in París, France, in 2011. At ICC 2009 the LOC of Chile will give a warm welcome to delegation from the 'Comité Français de Cartographie' and from the LOC of ICC 2011.
